Daniel Hyneman, DDS, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Daniel Hyneman was born and raised in Arizona where he developed an interest in the dental field from his father who practiced general dentistry for over 30 years.
Training: Dr. Hyneman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he was class valedictorian and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans where he also completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Hyneman’s surgical interests include orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, complex bone grafting and treatment of benign pathology.
He moved to New Orleans in 2017 where he met his fiancée, Taylor, who is a New Orleans native and Mount Carmel graduate. He is very proud to call New Orleans home!
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, spending time outdoors, and trying new local restaurants. He is also a proud Saints and Tigers fan.
