Henry "Butch" Ferguson, DDS

Dr. Henry "Butch" Ferguson is an accomplished oral surgeon from Augusta, GA.
Received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Pittsburgh PA. 1980 and completed his residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon GA., in 1991.
Served in the United States Army Dental Corps and retired from active duty at the rank of Colonel in March 2004. In April 2004, Dr Ferguson received a joint appointment as an Associate Professor in the Medical College of Georgia Medical Center Department of Surgery, and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry as an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He currently serves as the Vice Chair, and Director of Post Graduate training for the Augusta University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia), Dental College of Georgia, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, member of the ADA, a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the National Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
