Edward Massett, DDS, MD

Dr. Edward Massett is a graduate of the Charity Hospital OMS program in 1973. Dr Massett began his practice in Chalmette performing full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After several successful years, he moved his practice to Slidell. Throughout his time as a private practitioner, he routinely provided clinical teaching in the Charity Hospital clinic, instructing the students and residents, until Hurricane Katrina.

Dr Massett brings valuable private practice expertise into our department. He will teach undergraduate students and resident trainees in two service lines: dentoalveolar surgery as well as sedation and anesthesia.

Dr Massett will be practicing with us as a part time faculty in the LSU School of Dentistry Oral Surgery clinic.
