Hisham Hatoum, DDS, MD

Hisham Hatoum, DDS, MD graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Biology and went onto a Masters of Business at Northeastern University in Boston. Thereafter, he received his DDS from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland. He then spent one year at LSU in New Orleans and Baton Rouge as an OMS intern before moving to the University of Buffalo where he would complete his medical degree and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Thereafter, he completed two prestigious fellowships in Head and Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, first at the University of Miami and thereafter at the world renown Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Hatoum then became the Head and Neck Surgeon for the Novant Health system in North Carolina. Currently he is a full time Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
