Of the 59 dental
graduates, 17 are from families
with dentists, representing the
unique generational quality of
dentistry as a profession.
Thirty-five graduates will enter
private practice in Louisiana
with another ten going into
private practice in Arizona,
Arkansas, Colorado, Tennessee,
Texas, and Virginia. One
graduate will enter the Navy.
Six dentists
will continue their training
through advanced education
programs at LSUSD. An additional
four will enter advanced
education programs in
Shreveport, Louisiana;
Birmingham, Alabama; and
Knoxville, Tennessee.
