Dr. Maney is an Associate Professor and Director of the Postgraduate Program in Periodontics at LSUHSC School of Dentistry. Dr. Maney received her dental degree from Kuvempu University in India. She received her Master's in Public Health, Certificate in Periodontology and PhD degree in Oral Biology from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. She has been teaching Periodontics at LSU School of Dentistry since 2009. Dr. Maney's research interests include dental implants and the pathogenesis and genetic aspects of periodontal diseases. She specializes in the practice of Periodontics including the treatment of gum diseases and gum recession, bone grafting and implant dentistry. She is also certified in moderate sedation.
