Dr. Panos Dragonas is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Advanced Education Program in the Department of Periodontics. He received his dental degree from the University of Athens, Greece and then worked as a general dentist for the Greek Navy for two years. He completed his Periodontics residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he specialized in treating periodontal disease and placing dental implants. He then continued his dental implant training at LSUHSC where he completed an Implant restorative fellowship. Dr. Dragonas is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is certified in moderate sedation.
