"Big Turnover"
Features Keenan Lewis
The "Big
Turnover" welcomed Keenan
Lewis, cornerback for the
New Orleans Saints, to the
school this fall. Keenan
played college football at
Oregon State and was
drafted by the Pittsburgh
Steelers in the third
round of the 2009 NFL
Draft. A native of New
Orleans, he joined the
Saints in 2013.
Dr. Joseph Lacoste,
founder and CEO of
Louisiana Dental Center
(LDC), started the annual
event in 2010 to support
special projects at LSUSD.
For every turnover by the
Saints in the prior
season, LDC would donate
$250 to the school. In
recent years, LDC has
generously contributed
much more and to date, Dr.
Lacoste and his associates
have contributed over
$35,000 in support of the
Preclinical Simulation
Laboratories Campaign and
the annual Summer
Enrichment Program. Dr.
Lacoste is a 1980 graduate
of LSUSD.
