Logging onto a

of 3 components

"c:\" etc... --- Do
not close it!!!
E-mail
Microsoft Outlook is our
email client. The
following attachments are
prohibited: .zip, .exe,
.com, .mdb, etc.
When off-campus, access
email via Web Access, or
Citrix
Web access: http://webmail.lsuhsc.edu
If you have having
problems "replying" to
messages in web email
please make sure that
you add

on the toolbar menu
tools -> pop-up

on the toolbar menu

to access Axium,

Network Drives:
(available while on the
school network)
M: O:
T:
X:
U:
DRIVES under
the desktop icon "My
computer"
M:
A school-wide drive used
for course materials. This
drive is being replaced
with Moodle.
O:
Your own personal storage
drive. Only you have
access and it follows you
to any network computer
you log into.
T:
Your Departmental drive.
Everyone in the Department
to which you belong will
have access.
X:
A junk transfer save
drive, anyone in the
school has access to this
drive to read and save. It
is purged every 60 days or
so, so do not keep
anything in there for
long.
U:
School public data drive.
School information,
pictures, forms etc... Not
everyone can save to this
drive.
Flash portable
USB drives (Pen
Drives, Thumb Drives, and
Keychain Drives)
USB flash drives and/or
hard drives can be very
convenient for carrying
data back and forth from
home. If your documents
are not saved on a network
drive or a portable drive
and your computer's hard
drive goes out, there may
be no way to recover those
files.
We highly recommend a 2 GB
flash drive or bigger.
Log Off every
computer you use!!!
Your account id and
password identifies who
you are. If someone
performs actions under
your account, you are held
liable.
